- Samsung SCH - B710
- The new phone model which Samsung unveiled is the Samsung SCH-B710. This phone is available only for the Korean market. The SCH-B710 has been announced for some time, but little details have come out since then. Being actually a dual DMB phone model, Samsung SCH-B710 is capable of supporting up to 35 channels of S-DMB and 18 channels of T-DMB. That makes a total of more than 50 channels which can be viewed the mobile way.
The handset comes with a feature which is not that common among mobile phones - the picture in picture feature. This feature allows users to do two activities in the same time, for example, watching TV and composing an email. Also, the design of the handset is rather rare, as it slides circularly, making it extremely easy to use and handle.
Samsung SCH-B710 comes with a 2.2 inch 3D screen. The display size is not going to break any records and could use some upgrading for best performances. So, don’t expect wonders when it comes to watching TV on it, because is just a mobile phone. For best viewing conditions, the panorama mode might turn out to be useful in many situations.
Also, Samsung SCH-B710 comes included with a 1.3 megapixel camera. This camera is set at lower end when it comes to performances. Like the display screen, this feature could use some upgrading as not to waste all the other performances that Samsung SCH-B710 is capable of. The phone has Bluetooth connectivity and also has an additional microSD card slot for providing enough memory space.
Samsung SCH-B710 is available in two colors: white and silver. The handset will be available from now on in Korea for the equivalent of USD 650.
